Blood Drive

Each year, the Alaska Conference support its community by inviting the Blood Bank of Alaska (BBA) to visit the Palmer campus during Southcentral camp meeting.  The conference has included the blood drive as part of its campus activities since 2005 where attendees have donated over 275 units positively impacting over 800 Alaskans.

Due to the conoravirus and social distancing mandates, the annual blood drive has been rescheduled to coincide with the 18th Regular Constituency on September 20, 2020.  The BBA will be at the Alaska Conference Office on Sunday from 11 am - 5:30.  Please support this effort and make plans to donate!

If you are considering donating, here are some pointers:

  • Bring your driver's license or photo identification with your social security number

  • Make an appointment on-line prior to camp meeting or sign-up at the Information Booth during the week

  • Walk-ins are welcome where space permits

  • Eat at least one hour before donating and make sure you are well hydrated

Jesus not only gave His blood for us, He gave His life. The least we can do for our friends and neighbors is to donate blood for those in need.
